Alaska Seafood recipes: Garlic Roasted Shrimp Cocktail
Garlic Roasted Shrimp Cocktail
Roasting the shrimp with garlic gives them a wonderful, spicy flavor.
 
INGREDIENTS
• 1 lb. Alaska Colossal Shrimp, peeled, tails left on
• 4 garlic cloves, chopped or minced
• 3 tablespoons olive oil
• 3/4 teaspoon salt
• 1/3 teaspoon cracked black pepper
 
In a bowl add all the ingredients, including the shrimp. Toss lightly to coat the shrimp evenly with mixture. Take shrimp and either grill them on a medium hot bar-b-que for about 2 ½ minutes on each side;

OR
Place them on a cookie sheet in a single layer and place them in a pre-heated oven at 450 degrees. Turn them after 3 minutes on each side. You can serve these immediately after removing from heat with your favorite cocktail sauce or: Remove from oven and place in the refrigerator and chill completely..about 2 hours and then serve with cocktail sauce.
